Each episode of TALES takes an iconic hip-hop record and builds a full scripted story around it. Notorious B.I.G. , NWA, Meek Mill, Fetty Wap, Jay Z, Method Man & Mary J. Blige, Slick Rick and more. The songs you know become the world you're dropped into, and nothing plays out the way you expect.

A different director each episode. A different story each time. The only constant is the music and the standard Irv set for what street-rooted storytelling could look like on screen.

TALES wasn't just a series. It was proof of concept.
