The Hip-Hop Anthology TV Series on BET Networks

This original, scripted anthology series, TALES, was envisioned by record producer, director and screenwriter Irv "Gotti" Lorenzo as a tribute, both, to hip hop music and the power of compelling stories with unpredictably-twisting plots.

Using songs like Notorious B.I.G.'s "I Got a Story to Tell," Meek Mill's "Cold Hearted", Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen", and NWA's "F*ck the Police", the thematic backdrop of iconic hip-hop hits framed the creative narratives of this scripted anthology series that took viewers on an unexpected adventure.

Using a unique director for each episode, the TALES series challenges the stereotypes, misconceptions, prejudices, and biases which often play out in life, whether internally or externally, and confronts viewers with the dilemmas of life's choices and consequences.
